Crée en décembre 2001 par Merkurius et Volkano, Kanibalz Productions était au départ une organisation dont le but premier fut d'introduire un nouveau style de musique électronique à l'époque pratiquement inconnu sur la scène locale: le hardcore techno. Étant l'unique regroupement de la région se dévouant à ce genre musical, Kanibalz s'est d'abord dévoué à démocratiser le hardcore à Québec.
Une fois ce premier objectif réalisé, l'organisation s'est alors consacrée à l'essor et l'évolution de la scène hardcore devenant toujours plus imposante, que ce soit à travers la promotion de la musique ou encore la production d'événements, ces derniers présentant régulièrement des artistes hardcore de calibre international, propulsant Québec parmi les villes ayant une scène hardcore des plus prolifique en Amérique du Nord. Kanibalz acquiert alors une solide réputation et devient reconnu pour ses accomplissements à travers tout le continent puis même jusqu'en Europe.
 
C'est en juillet 2005 que l'organisation prend l'allure qu'on lui connaît aujourd'hui, Kanibalz Kollective, en s'actualisant à la réalité d'une scène hardcore toujours changeante. Un nouveau nom, une nouvelle structure collective, afin de mieux veiller à la santé et la qualité de la scène hardcore et des événements qui y sont présentés. L'organisation est depuis composée des meilleurs DJs et artistes hardcore de la ville de Québec et d'ailleurs (Montréal, Ottawa, Chicoutimi), il ne s'agit de rien de moins que l'union de l'élite, et les membres du collectif s'impliquent tous à leur manières dans les nombreux projets signés Kanibalz.

Quelques mois plus tard, le collectif acquiert également sa propre émission de radio sur les ondes de CHYZ 94,3 FM. L'émission intitulée Kanibalz Attack est présentée en direct chaque samedi soir et nous offre une fenêtre formidable pour faire découvrir le hardcore aux non-initiés.
 
En janvier 2007, le collectif ajoute une arme de choix dans son arsenal avec la création de son propre digital label: Kanibalz Digitalz. Il devient maintenant possible aux artistes d'ici de montrer leurs talents en rendant disponible leurs compositions à l'échelle planétaire. Depuis sa création, ce label est devenu une plaque tournante de la musique hardcore canadienne sous toutes ses variétés.

 Created in December 2001 by Merkurius and Volkano, Kanibalz Productions was primarily an organisation intended to bring a style of electronic music that was mostly ignored at the time in the local scene: hardcore techno music. Being the single grouping from the area devoted to this style, Kanibalz aimed to introduce hardcore to the electronic scene of Quebec City.

 Once this prime objective was accomplished, the organization then devoted its time and efforts to the rise and evolution of the hardcore scene. By becoming more imposing through the promotion of the music and the production of events, they regularly introduced hardcore artists of international caliber. All of these aspects combined propelled Quebec towards the top, among cities having the most prolific hardcore scenes in North America. Kanibalz acquired itself a solid reputation in Canada and became recognized for its achievements throughout all of the continent, stretching even as far as Europe.

 It was in July 2005 that the organization took the form that everyone knows and loves today, Kanibalz Kollective, keeping in mind the realities of an ever changing scene. A new name, a new collective structure, in order to keep and maintain the quality of events presented. The organization is made up of best hardcore DJs and artists of Quebec City among others from Montreal, Ottawa, and Chicoutimi. The collective offers nothing less than the union of the elite, and the members of the collective all contribute in their own ways to the many signed Kanibalz projects.
 
Among these projects, the weekly radio show Kanibalz Attack, where the DJs and artists of the collective take CHYZ 94,3 FM  by storm in order to propagate the extreme sonorities of electronic music. It is the only FM radio show of its kind in the country, devoted entirely and exclusively to hardcore techno.

 In January 2007, the collective adds a weapon of choice in its arsenal with the creation of its own net label: Kanibalz Digitalz. It is now possible for the artists from the area to showcase their talents by making their compositions available on a planetary scale. Since his creation, this label has become one of the major Canadian hardcore references with all of its varieties.
